SEEYOUSOUND™ International Music Film Festival is the unmistakable blend of music and film that celebrates in 7 days of programming the union of stories and images of characters and currents, in the background or protagonists of moments or whole lives.

The film selection is divided between fiction and documentary features, shorts and video clips in the competitive LongPlay Doc, LongPlay Feature, 7Inch and Soundies sections. The exhibitions Rising Sound – Music is the weapon, a glimpse into resistant musics, a sounding board and embodiment of the desire for freedom, and Into the Groove, a diverse selection of titles shot through with a pop vein, are the flagships of the program.

The 10th edition of Seeyousound will take place at the Cinema Massimo MNC in Turin from February 23 to March 3, 2024.

CHASSOL
liVE A/V

Chassol, a unique composer and musician, combines documentary film and musical composition by capturing his encounters and modifying the footage into visual motifs to which he attaches his own sequences and chords. This process – which he calls ‘ultra-scoring’ – is a tailoring of the video to the audio where the images are first and foremost musical matter and the music a further enhancement of the video’s power. He has collaborated with musicians of the calibre of Phoenix, Sebastien Tellier, Frank Ocean and Solange and released four albums/films “Nola Cherie“, “Indiamore“, “Big Sun” (with which he won the audience award in the first Seeyousound edition) and “Ludi”.

At Seeyousound X he will present a personal ‘Best of’ featuring the most important and famous scenes from his films and shows.
