Nicky Siano is an American disc jockey, a founding father of dance music. After the closure of the Gallery, Siano was hired as the first DJ at Studio 54. He helped launch the careers of Grace Jones, Loletta Holloway, Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles. He is the last survivor of the core group of DJs who built the music industry in the early ’70s. Love Is the Message – A Night at the Gallery (2014) is his first work as a director.
