DIRECTOR'S BIO

Fabien Pisani is a director and producer born in Cuba, with over twenty years of experience in cinema, music and television. His work combines cinematic storytelling and cultural commitment, with particular attention to Cuban and Caribbean identities. He produced 7 Days in Havana, presented at Cannes (Un Certain Regard). With this documentary, which premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2025, he delivers his most personal work, interweaving family memory, music and political history. He is the founder of the Musicabana festival.
