DIRECTOR'S BIO

Alison Ellwood is an award-winning documentary director, producer and editor. Her most recent work includes the MGM+ docuseries The Wonderland Massacre & the Secret History of Hollywood, the Cyndi Lauper documentary Let the Canary Sing (opening film of SYS X) and the series San Francisco Sounds. She directed the Emmy-nominated Laurel Canyon (2020) and The Go-Go’s (2020), which was presented at Sundance and won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Music Film.
