DIRECTOR'S BIO

Elegance Bratton is an award-winning director, screenwriter and producer. A former US Marine, he began making films after living homeless for ten years. His films tell invisible stories, placing at the centre the universal strength of shared humanity. Among his best-known works are the documentary Pier Kids, awarded at the Independent Spirit Awards, and the fiction film The Inspection, presented in Toronto and New York. He is currently working on his next fiction feature film, By Any Means.
