Seeyousound’s monthly events continue at Cinema Massimo: la Sala Soldati ospita nuovamente il nostro festival in data venerdì 15 aprile alle ore 21:00 per la proiezione di Mystify: Michael Hutchence, a 2019 film directed by Richard Lowenstein and dedicated to the iconic frontman of Australia’s INXS, who in the ’80s and ’90s were one of the most celebrated acts in international pop-rock.
An intimate and profound portrait of Michael Hutchence, the INXS frontman, a complex and sensitive personality who, with his extraordinary voice and his reckless life, his charm and his sensuality, enchanted audiences on and off the stage, sadly for far too short a time. Michael had to struggle with the idea of success and with the limits on creativity imposed by celebrity in order to try to express his own integrity; a yearning that marked his life and his music and drove him to try to break free from the dogmas of pop. Until a traumatic accident left him vulnerable, unable to look ahead, defenceless in the face of the assaults of the tabloid press.
