For the mastery with which all aspects of the cinematic work are handled, with effectiveness, economy and a strong artistic vision. PAULINE BLACK: A 2-TONE STORY
by Jane Mingay
The film reconnects us with the era from which a series of social and political problems originate, whose consequences have reached their peak in the present day. At the end of the Seventies, the beginning of the overwhelming dominance of a deregulated financial capitalism, freed from public controls, produced a reaction both political and musical, from which lessons and inspiration can still be drawn today. The film confirms that music is also a vehicle of awareness and political content, capable of communicating through emotion, involvement and a sense of community between different generations and cultures.

BUTTHOLE SURFERS: THE HOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUTT
by Tom Stern

FALENE
by Ivan Cazzola
For having told how Turin absorbed the vital drive of English club culture, creating a movement able to embrace electronic music without losing its punkish streak. Through archive materials and a plurality of voices, the film effectively describes how that experience redeemed the image of a city lacking in stimulation, leaving a legacy that never stops resisting.
