FREQUENCIES LIVE CONTEST
Frequencies is the international call for young musicians and composers to take part in a contest featuring an original live score for a silent film.
The selected artists are the protagonists of a programme of residenza artistica of Seeyousound, a training course that culminates in a sonorizzazione dal vivo: the participants compete in the live composition of soundtracks for four silent films, selected in collaboration with the Cineteca of the Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Turin.
The performances take place in front of a jury, which will name the winner.
The contest will be held on Wednesday 4 March alle 20:00, nella Sala 1 of the Cinema Massimo in Turin.

During the final evening of Frequencies, the two winners of the previous edition, held at Seeyousound X, will perform live, Manuel Sirotti ed Ettore Mancuso.
A unique electroacoustic audio-video performance, in which Stefano Giorgi’s aleatory painting merges with Manuel Sirotti’s original electroacoustic sound productions, created live in collaboration with Ettore Mancuso. An immersive experience that unites visual art and music in real time, exploring new expressive frontiers and a dynamic dialogue between images and previously unheard sounds.
