The Sun Has No Shadow | Rebecca Salvadori Exhibition - opening
The Sun Has No Shadow is a screening event that explores aspects of the techno culture, both as an individual experience and as a form of collective rituality. Through the films Tresor Tapes and The Sun Has No Shadow by Rebecca Salvadori, the exhibition develops along binary dynamics that activate a generative tension between opposite poles - London-Berlin, archive-affective memory, individual experience-collective ritual. A third film, Empathy, brings attention to silence and portraiture.

7 INCH EXPERIMENTA
Every year 7Inch gathers original works that can’t be easily defined: they are neither narrative shorts nor video clips, yet they are both. They are often crazy experiments with no apparent sense and they find their meaning in music and rhythm. Breaking the rules without asking permission, making noise and chaos. Seeyousound is the perfect place for this tagless and floating genre that encloses the nature of the three “short” sections of the Festival.
7 Inch Experimenta is an experimental short film programme where music and rhythm are not only a soundtrack but help to shape and affect images.

LA CASA DI VIA SILVIO PELLICO. VISITA ALL'APPARTAMENTO DI GUSTAVO ADOLFO ROL - ESPERIENZA SONORA

ALESSIA TONDO & DAVIDE AMBROGIO - LIVE
Despite their young age, Alessia Tondo and Davide Ambrogio have already made their way in the diversified world of international folk music, earning unanimous acclaim and prestigious awards in Italy and abroad thanks to their respective original projects. Inspired by and drawing heavily from the roots of the folk music of their places of origin, they have the rare merit of having been able to breathe new life into an archaic and intimate world, projecting stylistic features and forms from the depths of Southern Italian music into the future.
Sharing an extraordinary knowledge of the traditional music of their origins and a very strong natural tension to make their artistic proposal current and modern, Alessia and Davide meet for the first time on the Seeyousound stage, after Paolo Lucà and FolkClub invitation, on whose stage they have both performed over the past year, giving life to a unique performance that will cross their artistic personalities and sensibilities, in a journey between worlds of sounds that are familiar but still to be explored, a window wide open on the avant-garde of contemporary folk music.

THE WENDS - LIVE

The Wends represents a new chapter for the Turin-based band that was known as “Smile”. The new name tells of a new identity that translates into darker, more nervous songs that switch from shimmering arpeggios to more nervous post-punk guitars, from melodic singing to screaming, expressive vocals. From reflections on everyday life to the search for an alternative “after the meltdown”, in search of what philosopher Mark Fisher called “post-capitalist desire”.
Their first album, The name of this band is Smile (Subjangle/Dotto) was named “Italian album of the year” by indie-zone.it and received critical acclaim in Italy, as well as several radio broadcasts in the US, UK and Spain. Their most recent work released in October by We Were Never Being Boring (US/IT) and Subjangle (SA/UK) is entitled It's Here When You Fall.
