Bauddhayan Mukherji, Bauddhayan Mukherji, born in 1973 in Kolkata in India, as a teenager was struck by a book by Satyajit Ray titled All about shooting and decided to devote himself to movies. In thirty years, he has realized more than 300 commercials for television and has received the Silver Lion at Cannes. In 2007, with his wife, Monalisa, he founds the production company Little Lamb Films, with which, in 2014, he realizes Teenkahon (Three Obsession). The film participates in several international festivals receiving numerous awards. In 2014 he presents Teenkahon at the International Film Festival of India, where he meets Mohsen Makhmalbaf, from whom he gets the idea of The Violin Player, his second feature film, from. The film wins the Durban IFF (2016) International as Best Feature Film, it’s nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Actor at the Raindance Film Festival, and participates in the Festival of Sao Paulo, at IFFK of Kerala, at the IMFF of Jecheon and Jio Mami Mumbai FF.
