The video insinuates into fiction and music transcends the boundaries imposed from being “only” a soundtrack, becoming the engine and the soul of the narration and of the directing style. These are the reasons why Emmanuel Adijei’s short fascinates and conquers. Three songs by the Iranian popstar Sevdaliza accompany a murky and dramatic story on the background of beautiful and scary landscapes, and with a structure that chronologically doesn’t suggest any references, leaving the spectator in the grip of mystery and anxiety.
