The Beautiful “Loser” is a music documentary that tells about the personality of Gigi Restagno.
The documentary goes through the Turin 80s music’s scene and trends where Gigi, as musician and songwriter, has been a leading figure.
Artistic director of the historic network Radio Flash and leader of the Blind Alley, with his stage presence, humor, elegance and, above all, his great talent, he has become an unforgettable figure for those who knew him. A history full of events, successes and falls, missed opportunities and strokes of luck, of extraordinary songs and important events. It’s an incomplete story, where the potential and the talent were suddenly cut off by a sudden death, apex of that form of self-destruction that often characterizes music great talents.
This movie intends to tell this story, with the words and faces of those who have walked a little with one of the most original and innovative performers of our music.
