Sonido Mestizo is the first episode of an ambitious project consisting of a series of documentaries produced by ZZK Records, a Buenos Aires electronic music visionary label.
This documentary is a journey of exploration through three music’s regions of Ecuador: the Andes, the coast and the Amazon, where a new generation of musicians such as Nicola Cruz, Mateo Kingman, Río Mira weaves the traditional sounds of the local indigenous populations with more contemporary genres, in a burst of new energy.
