Moving and well rhythmed portrait of the troubled life of André Hazes, the most famous and discussed folk singer from Holland.

Grown up singing in the streets of Amsterdam, after making his debut on TV when he was 8, André becomes a great talent, but he loves the blues and at the top of his career he would like to release a record, which nobody ever wanted to produce. Besides his career, he fights against the ghosts of his past which led him to depression and alcoholism. The music is his only life line, but his imminent deafness threatens his career. The movie, nominated in Holland “Golden Film” in 2015, was a real blockbuster. Masterly interpreted by Martijn Fischer, actor, singer and musician.
