Marie Losier was born in France and works actively as a director in New York.
He has realized a series of film-portraits about filmmakers, musicians and composers such as Mike and George Kuchar, Guy Maddin, Richard Foreman, Tony Conrad and Genesis P-Orridge.
Her movies are regularly screened in prestigious festivals and museums of art and cinema as the Tate Modern, the Whitney Biennial, PS1, MOMA, the Berlin Film Festival, The Rotterdam International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, La Cinematheque Française and the Centre George Pompidou in Paris.
